Stretching the matrix
Non-uniform scaling turns square modules into rectangles and can harm decoding.
Data Matrix stores data in a two-dimensional grid with error correction and a distinctive solid/alternating finder pattern. The generator selects an ECC 200 size for the payload, shows the exact text being encoded and avoids decorative edits that would damage modules.

A practical workflow
Check encoding and delimiters against the consuming system before generation.
Use the selected ECC 200 symbol size rather than forcing data into too few modules.
Keep equal horizontal and vertical scaling, a clear quiet zone and a testable final module size.

A general ECC 200 payload does not gain GS1 semantics without the appropriate FNC1 and element-string rules.
The general generator does not claim support for every GS1 or regulated Data Matrix profile.

It identifies the modern Data Matrix error-correction scheme used to recover data from a limited amount of symbol damage. It does not guarantee reading through arbitrary distortion.
BatchLabel does not recommend or automate logo overlays. Error correction is not permission to obscure modules or finder patterns; preserve the generated symbol intact.
