Common errors and precise fixes
Choosing by product name alone
Stock revisions and regional variants can share a familiar name but use different margins or pitch.
Compare every dimension and print a plain-paper alignment test.
Editing the barcode outside its safe region
Resizing or surrounding the symbol with text can reduce quiet zones.
Use the barcode element's constrained controls and scan the printed sample.
Know the limits
Printer feed, driver scaling and stock tolerances can require calibration even when nominal dimensions match.
A template does not certify barcode grade or regulatory suitability.
