Avery barcode label template

Use an Avery-compatible label grid as a measured starting point

A reference number can help locate a common sheet geometry, but it is not a substitute for checking the stock in hand. BatchLabel exposes page size, label dimensions, pitch and margins so a compatible template remains editable and auditable.

A practical workflow

How to use it

  1. 01

    Match the complete reference

Check page region and exact stock code, then compare the published dimensions to your package.

  2. 02

    Inspect the generated grid

Verify rows, columns, pitch and margins before adding batch data.

  3. 03

    Run a plain-paper overlay

Print at 100%, hold the test behind the label sheet and calibrate any consistent offset.

Avoid rework

Common errors and precise fixes

Treating compatible as identical

Third-party stock may advertise compatibility while using slightly different tolerances.

Measure or use the supplier's current specification and adjust the grid.

Selecting the wrong regional page size

Similar label references may exist for A4 and US Letter layouts.

Confirm both sheet dimensions and printer driver paper size before printing.

Know the limits

Reference metadata and physical stock can change; verify the package rather than relying on the name alone.

Compatibility does not guarantee printer feed behavior or barcode scan quality.

Questions, answered

Before you continue

Are these official Avery templates?

No. They are editable dimensions described as compatible starting points. Avery is a trademark of its owner and does not sponsor or endorse BatchLabel.

What if my reference is not listed?

Create a custom A4 or Letter grid using the supplier's current label size, pitch and margin measurements.
