Confirm the application and printer driver both use 8.5 × 11 inch media.

Add label size, pitch, margins, rows, columns and any starting-label skip.

Print at 100%, compare horizontal and vertical offsets and save corrections locally.
Avoid rework
Common errors and precise fixes
A4 is selected in the driver
The driver may reflow or scale a Letter PDF to a different physical page.
Set Letter consistently in BatchLabel, the PDF print dialog and printer properties.
Rounding every inch conversion
Rounding each gap or column independently can create visible cumulative drift.
Keep high-precision physical values internally and round only at the output boundary.
Know the limits
Browser preview zoom cannot prove physical size.
Printer non-printable areas and paper feed tolerances remain device-specific.

Before you continue
Can I enter measurements in inches?
Yes. BatchLabel converts inches to the same physical model used for millimetres, while showing the chosen unit in the editor.
Why does the PDF preview look smaller on screen?
On-screen zoom is not a physical ruler. Validate the PDF's declared page size and print using actual-size settings.
