Thirteen digits with a wrong final digit
The weighted modulo-10 calculation does not match the supplied check digit.
EAN-13 encodes twelve data digits plus a final check digit. Enter twelve digits to calculate the thirteenth, or paste a complete value to verify it before producing SVG, PNG or PDF artwork with the required blank margins.
Identifier notice. BatchLabel generates the graphical representation of the number provided. It does not sell or assign official GTIN, EAN or UPC codes.
A practical workflow
Use data-only mode for twelve digits or verification mode for the full number.
Resolve any mismatch in the source record rather than silently changing an assigned GTIN.
Keep quiet zones, avoid non-uniform scaling and scan a physical sample.
Avoid rework
The weighted modulo-10 calculation does not match the supplied check digit.
An arbitrary 13-digit number can satisfy the checksum without being assigned for retail use.
BatchLabel does not issue GTIN-13 identifiers or verify company ownership.
A structurally valid value and clear preview do not replace a print-quality test.

They belong to the GTIN family but have different common representations and data lengths. Use the format required by the receiving system rather than trimming or adding digits casually.
